WE ARE HOME IN HOLEŠOVICE

Let's look at the Prague map under a magnifying glass. The uniqueness of the ZigZag Haus project is determined by its location. In the otherwise densely built-up traditional blocks of Holešovice, our location is the last piece of land where something new can grow. And integrate naturally and humbly into a thriving neighbourhood where everything you need is in place.

The broader surroundings in the same district will be uplifted over the next five years thanks to the revitalisation of the Bubny brownfield, and a significant investment in the nearby multifunctional concert hall of the Vltava Philharmonic is planned. Good address.

ZIGZAGPRAGUE 7Holešovice

Greenery all around, but in the middle of the city.

Accessibility by public transport, but also easy parking.

Lively everywhere, but calm in your street.

Restaurants, bars, but also sports.

A little of everything and just enough of everything.

Art around the corner

Holešovice and Letná are places where art, quality architecture and design have been concentrated for the last decade. This Art District of Prague is just at the beginning of a journey that will culminate in a world-class concert hall project for the Vltava Philharmonic. The unrivalled cultural zigzag in Holešovice is already made up of the National Gallery in Veletržní Palace, the private contemporary art centre DOX, progressive theatre scenes - Alfréd ve Dvoře, Jatka78 and Azyl 78 or Studio Hrdinů, Letní Letná, spectacular festivals of music, design and books held in the Exhibition Grounds and, last but not least, one of Prague's most iconic cinemas, art cinema Bio Oko.

Friends around the corner

Traditional pubs, trendy cafés and bars, skilled chefs and restaurants with a touch of flair are at home in Holešovice. You'll find it all here: your secret address and a regular brunch or market where everyone goes. In Holešovice, you can live the 15-minute city, the textbook ideal of how cities should work. What does that mean? It's easy to get where you need to go, but also that you're close to the people you want to see. You're not alone when you want to have fun or need a hand. Isn't that possible in a big, anonymous city? But it is. And ZigZag Haus wants to be that good neighbour.

Public transport around the corner

Tram just around the corner, metro is just a short walk. This part of Holešovice, close to Strossmayer Square, is one of the accessible public transportation hubs in Prague. The backbone tram lines connect the district with the historic centre across the river, and the Vltavská, Nádraží Holešovice, and Hradčanská metro stations cross here. We have solved the parking problem on the street with our own garages underground in the building. And fans of two wheels can quickly get to all sides from here.

Sport around the corner

The exhibition centre has been transformed beyond recognition in recent years. Just a few steps from ZigZag Haus, there are top fitness and workout facilities, the most extensive parkour course in the Czech Republic, a skatepark and a children's bike park. Popular sporting events are held here every minute. You can put on your bike, skates, and cross-country skis in Stromovka, with a hockey hall opposite, tennis courts, a swimming pool, and public skating and yoga studios within a 10-minute walk.

Little Berlin around the corner

It is no coincidence that the design of ZigZag Haus is being developed in collaboration with the Berlin-based architectural studio. It is a long tradition here. The charming name Little Berlin originated in the 1930s and has been applied to several nearby streets. At first it was the name of a single residential block, generous in space and spare in appearance, equipped with services, shops and even a nursery instead of ostentatious pomp. From there, the name spread to the surrounding streets, and over time, Prague's large German-speaking community concentrated there. Nine decades later, the construction of the ZigZag Haus and the permeable arches of the new viaduct will finally connect the previously disconnected points, opening up passage for residents to several sides for greenery and uplift.
